Temperature, humidity, ventilation, there three are the key points of chicken house management.

Especially temperature, weather, season, chicken house design and other factors will cause a certain temperature difference, which will cause the chickens to get sick or even die. So, how to control the temperature difference?

1.Inlet temperature difference control

The import includes the import and export of personnel and equipment and the air inlet.

Generally, the wind that enters the air inlet instantaneously is cooler and is most easily ignored.

Therefore, clinically, the respiratory tract of more than 70% of chickens is caused by the temperature difference at the inlet.

When there is a temperature difference of more than 10 degrees between the temperature outside the house and the temperature inside the house, the temperature in the house may not be low, but the body temperature of the chicken is unacceptable.

Therefore, a feed bag should be used to cover the edge of the net at the position of the air inlet. Or around flocks where the air inlet is prone to cold;

The entrance and exit of personnel should also have an adequate incubation environment, and within two meters of the entrance, use feed bags or plastic paper to protect the position from the mesh surface to the ground.

2.Temperature difference control in the house

It mainly refers to the uniformity of temperature distribution in the house, and whether there is a dead angle for ventilation, especially for chicken houses with a breeding scale of more than 8,000.

Under normal circumstances, the position of the brood is close to the position of the heater, the temperature is always higher, and the position farther away from the heat source (closer to the fan) is always lower.

One or several small stoves can be built farther away from the heat source if conditions permit.

Another situation is that the temperature around the house is low and the temperature in the middle is high (especially when cooling in summer), and ventilation should be fully considered.

In summer, for ventilation and cooling, it is necessary to pay attention that the lowest air inlet should be lower than the height of the chicken group (especially the chicken group raised on the ground).

3.Chicken temperature difference control

This means that the temperature in the house is too high before the chicks enter the house, and the temperature difference generated during the transportation of the chicks.

Generally, before the chicks enter the house, it is recommended to raise the temperature to 35 degrees 4 hours in advance (6 hours on the ground), and then slowly decrease to 27-30 degrees.

After the chicken comes, put the chicken flat on the mesh surface or the ground, lift the lid of the carton, and slowly raise the temperature to 33-35 degrees.

4.Heat source temperature difference control

The main reason is that the chickens around the heat source of the chicken house are different from the overall temperature of the chicken house and the chickens slightly farther away from the heat source, especially the chickens heated by the heater, and special attention should be paid to this point.

In order to slow down the external cold air and avoid local high temperature, the heat sink or air supply bag for the heater should be installed on both sides of the wall as far as possible, and blow air towards the wall or the ground. Heating with a small stove should also move closer to both sides.

5.Weather temperature difference control

Overcast, rain, fog, frost, snow, wind, and unfavorable weather also have a great impact on the temperature of chicken farms. Farmers should pay attention to daily weather changes and adjust in time:

(1) On cloudy and rainy days, heating facilities should be provided for the chickens in time to prevent the drop of the outside temperature from causing the temperature in the chicken house to drop.

(2) The fog in the north is serious, and the doors and windows of the chicken house must not be closed, but mechanical ventilation should be ensured, and the breeze should be kept flowing, and the shed should not be covered;

(3) When it is frost, it is often hot during the day and cold at night, especially at 1-5 o’clock in the morning, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the air inlet should be small or closed, so that the furnace can work normally;

(4) The snow is not cold and the snow is cold. After the rainy and snowy days, the roof of the chicken house should be cleared of snow in time, and the house temperature should be appropriately increased, especially when the snow is melted.
