Client Needs
During the project planning phase, the client focused on the following aspects:
1. Meeting the centralized brooding needs of 60,000 chicks
Achieving a rational layout within the limited chicken house space to improve the utilization rate of unit area.
2. Reducing labor input and intensity
Reduce repetitive tasks such as manual feeding, watering, and manure removal, improving daily management efficiency.
3. Ensuring a stable rearing environment for chicks
The brooding stage has high requirements for temperature, ventilation, drinking water, and feeding conditions; the equipment needs to have stable and reliable operating performance.
4. Facilitating unified management and standardized operation
Reduce human differences through automated equipment, enabling different batches of chicks to receive more consistent management conditions.
5. Adapting to the local climate and breeding conditions in Vietnam
Some areas of Vietnam have high temperatures and high humidity; the equipment and environmental control solutions need to fully consider ventilation, cooling, and hygiene management under high temperature and high humidity conditions.
What project information did Retech provide to its Vietnamese clients?
As a professional poultry farming equipment service provider with over 30 years of manufacturing experience, we will provide you with detailed project proposals:
– Number of cage sets required for 60,000 birds
– Capacity of each cage set
– Complete house layout/drawing
– 2D or 3D farm design
– Cage dimensions
– Total power consumption
– Recommended generator capacity
– Number of shipping containers required
– FOB China price
– CIF Ho Chi Minh price, if available
– Installation cost
– Production and delivery time
– Warranty period

During the selection process, we focused on the equipment’s level of automation, structural durability, environmental control capabilities, and after-sales response speed. We ultimately chose Retech based on the following key factors:
Retech possesses mature technology and project experience in large-scale brooding cage rearing;
The fully automated system is comprehensively configured, covering feeding, watering, manure removal, environmental control, and alarms;
The equipment features a corrosion-resistant and durable structure, suitable for Vietnam’s hot and humid breeding environment;
Customized designs are available for scales of up to 60,000 chicks and the local climate;
A comprehensive installation, commissioning, and on-site training system is in place, with timely after-sales response;
The system is easily expandable, allowing for future farm expansion.
Installation and Commissioning
After the equipment arrived on site, Retech engineers worked closely with the local installation team to complete the installation of the cages, feeding, watering, manure removal, environmental control, and electrical systems as planned. The commissioning phase included individual unit testing, integrated testing, and pre-introduction simulation to ensure stable operation of each component.
The Retech team also provided systematic training to on-site managers and workers, covering daily operations, parameter settings, alarm handling, cleaning and disinfection, and basic maintenance. Currently, the project is installed and operating normally.

Purchasing Manager’s Evaluation
“This 60,000-chicks project is now installed and operating normally. Retech’s fully automated brooding cage system has helped us achieve a stable, clean, and efficient brooding environment. Based on my practical experience in poultry farming in Vietnam, I believe this system is very suitable for the Vietnamese market, especially given the high temperature and humidity, rising labor costs, and stricter biosecurity requirements. We plan to continue working with Retech for future expansions.”
