Can the layer chicken start laying eggs to change the feed?

During the daily raising of layer chicken, farmers generally do not change the feed.

Often using a kind of feed for layer chicken will limit the nutrients absorbed by laying hens, and the feed intake will also decrease, so it is better to change the feeding layer chicken regularly to avoid this situation.

Farmers should pay attention to the following matters when changing feeds:

Usually, the feed used by young layer chicken and laying eggs is different.

If the young layer chicken are suddenly changed, the crude protein and calcium content of the body will rise rapidly.

Therefore, when replacing the feed for young chickens, pay attention to the content of crude protein and calcium in the feed: crude protein is about 15.5%, and calcium is generally about 0.8%.

Because laying hens have a relatively high demand for crude protein and calcium.

It is best to switch to laying hen feed when the egg production rate reaches 2%-5% when changing feed.

The calcium content of laying hen feed should be 3.4%. %-3.5%, containing 18% crude protein.

Young chickens raised in summer tend to start production later, and can start feeding at 18 weeks of age;

If it is a reserve layer chicken cultivated with natural light after winter, it often starts production earlier at 17 weeks;

Generally, 19-20-week-old chickens are fed with pre-laying feed, also known as transition feed.

The calcium and protein content of the feed should be higher than that of the feed for young chickens.

Generally, the proportion of calcium is 1%. Protein is 16.5%,

When refueling, it should take about half a month to gradually complete the refueling process, and do not change the material suddenly.
